Meet the Host
Dr. Moiya McTier
Dr. Moiya is an astrophysicist, folklorist, and communicator. After graduating from Harvard with a dual degree in astronomy/mythology, Moiya earned her PhD in astrophysics from Columbia. Her life’s mission is to help people better understand the world around us through a lens of science and laughter. You can see that reflected in her hundreds of public talks, her debut popular science book THE MILKY WAY: An Autobiography of our Galaxy, and in her Exolore podcast about facts-based fictional worldbuilding. Moiya is very excited to fall back in love with space through Pale Blue Pod. See more at moiyamctier.com
